It's official... I'm in my mid-thirties 🤯
Hello Reader!
I'm officially 35 today! It seems like just yesterday I was turning 26! Where has the time gone???
Regardless, I am thankful for the road that led me here and I am embracing what the future holds.
Just FYI, this isn’t going to be my typical wellness email. No health tips or low-tox product suggestions today. Just me, writing to you from the heart on my birthday…
I woke up in a reflective mood this morning...
If you had told the college me what my life would look like now… she probably wouldn’t have believed you. In fact, she probably would have laughed. I say this because when I was in college I graduated with a biochemistry degree with the goal to become a pediatric oncologist. I wanted to give hope to families stuck in seemingly hopeless situations. This was until I realized I would also have to tell children and their parents not-so-wonderful news... My empathetic heart would not have been able to handle that on a daily basis.
After I graduated college, I learned more about health and wellness, and I was pointed to the path of more natural ways to achieve health. It was during this time I realized my purpose was to help people prevent cancer and other illnesses by teaching my patients ways to make their bodies more resilient.
The path to get here has been winding — from the push to prove to the people closest to me that naturopathic medicine was what I needed to pursue, to the intensity of medical school, to the times filled with doubt, to the early mornings and late nights of building a practice from scratch.
There were moments I felt burnt out and tempted to raise my arms in surrender, unsure if I had it in me. I thought daily "Did I have what it takes to support people with their health? Why would anyone seek my advice?"
But I kept going — and I’m so glad and grateful I did.
Now, after years of hard work, I wake up each morning genuinely excited to help people improve their quality of life.
Supporting my patients, especially women navigating hormones and fertility, gut health, skin issues, and so much more, is more than a job — it’s my purpose
These past few years have surprised me in the best ways possible. I’ve cried with you, celebrated your healing wins, and walked alongside you through your hardest seasons. I don’t take that privilege lightly.
And outside of clinic this past year, my most wonderful milestone was becoming a wife. The biggest gift of all has been my husband — the most supportive partner I could ask for. He grounds me, cheers me on, and supplies me with endless lattes and smooches. He’s my soft place to land, and I thank the God every day for how our lives fit together.
At 35, I feel like I’ve truly grown into the woman I dreamed I’d be — imperfect and always learning, but aligned to my purpose.
If there’s one lesson I’d pass on from this season of life, it’s this:
You don’t have to have it all figured out to build something beautiful.
Whether you’ve been following my journey for years or just joined my email list last week — thank you for being a part of my world. You make my work more fulfilling than I ever imagined.
Here’s to growing older with intention, passion, and more confidence each year. 💖
With love,
Dr. Francesca
