Travel Smarter This Summer
Hello Reader!
Summer travel season is officially here, and if you're anything like me, you're probably getting excited about vacations, weekend getaways, weddings, family visits, and all the adventures that come with warmer weather.
But let's be honest... Travel can be surprisingly hard on the body and can make it difficult to keep up with your healthy meal plans and supplement regimen.
One day you're drinking plenty of water, eating your normal meals, sleeping in your own bed, and feeling great. Then suddenly you're waking up at 4 a.m. for a flight, surviving on airport food, sitting for hours, forgetting to drink water, and wondering why you feel bloated, exhausted, and completely off your routine.
As a naturopathic doctor, I've learned that staying healthy while traveling is about making healthy choices easier.
Over the years, I've developed a few travel habits that make a huge difference in how I feel when I'm away from home:
✅ I prioritize hydration (yes, electrolyte packets!) because flights, hot weather, and long travel days can be incredibly dehydrating.
✅ I make sure I have protein-rich snacks on hand because airport food doesn't always make healthy choices easy.
✅ I bring a few things that support digestion because travel constipation is real (and far more common than most people realize).
✅ If I'm sleeping somewhere unfamiliar, I like having a few simple items and supplements that help support a healthy sleep routine.
✅ I also simplify my supplement routine because the last thing I want to do while traveling is pack my entire supplement cabinet or completely abandon the habits that help me feel my best.
There are also those little travel upgrades that just make life easier: things like compression socks for long flights, travel-friendly skincare, sun protection, and a few tech essentials that help make travel days more comfortable. Because while none of these things are magic, they can make a big difference in how you feel when you arrive at your destination.
Since I've been preparing for some upcoming travel myself, I decided to put all of my favorite travel wellness essentials into one collection.
These are products I personally use, recommend, or keep coming back to because they've helped me stay hydrated, nourished, rested, and comfortable while traveling.

Whether you're heading out on a summer vacation, taking a road trip, hopping on a plane, or simply spending more time away from home, I hope this collection helps make healthy travel feel a little easier.
