Hello Reader!

Quick question for you…

Are you dealing with:

  • hormonal acne that won’t fully clear
  • PMS that feels worse than it should
  • energy crashes or brain fog
  • skin that feels dry or inflamed

…but you feel like you’re “doing everything right”?

👉 There’s one simple (and very overlooked) piece I check first with my patients… Healthy fats.

For years, fats were villainized, but now we know:

Your body literally needs fat to:

  • make hormones
  • support brain function + mood
  • stabilize blood sugar
  • keep your skin hydrated
  • reduce inflammation

So when fats are too low (or poor quality), your body doesn’t have the building blocks it needs to function well.

The easiest place to start

If you want a simple upgrade that can make a noticeable difference: Add a high-quality omega-3 supplement to your routine.

Omegas are one of the most common things I use in practice for:

  • acne
  • PMS
  • inflammation
  • mood support

Check out my omega-3 supplement picks here.

But supplements are just one piece…

There’s actually a bigger picture when it comes to healthy fats that most people miss.

Inside my new health article, I break down:

  • the difference between EPA vs DHA (and why it matters)
  • how omega-3s impact hormones, skin, and mood
  • what to look for in a high-quality supplement
  • the “tinned fish” trend (and whether it’s actually worth it)
  • simple ways to start adding more healthy fats into your routine

👉 Read the article here.

If you’ve been feeling like your hormones, skin, or energy are a little “off," this is one of those foundational shifts that can make a big difference.

And if you want a personalized plan (instead of guessing what your body needs), I work with patients 1:1 to connect the dots between hormones, gut health, and skin, so you can actually see results.

🐠 Want to get into the tinned fish trend, but don't know where to start? 🐠

One thing I’m focusing on more and more lately (both personally and with patients) is increasing healthy fats and omega-3s in realistic, sustainable ways.

Healthy fats play such an important role in:

  • hormone production
  • skin health
  • brain function
  • inflammation balance
  • blood sugar stability
  • feeling satisfied after meals

…and honestly, many women are still under-consuming them.

One of my favorite EASY ways to add more omega-3s into meals lately has been high-quality tinned fish.

If you’ve seen the tinned fish trend online recently, this is one wellness trend I actually love because it’s nutrient-dense, protein-rich, VERY convenient, and surprisingly easy to incorporate into everyday meals.

One brand I’ve been loving is Fishwife. Their products feel much more approachable if you’re newer to tinned fish, and they also share genuinely delicious recipe ideas that make healthy eating feel realistic instead of overwhelming.

If you don't know which ones to go for, my husband knows my love of tinned fish and gifted me a number of items from Fishwife for Christmas and here are the Fishwife tins I reach for all the time:

  • Smoked Rainbow Trout with Red Chimichurri
  • Smoked Salmon
  • Sardines with Hot Pepper
  • Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil
  • Slow Smoked Mackerel with Chili Flakes

You honestly can't go wrong with any of their tins!
